I am the owner of a large graphics design firm in Chicago. We have a total of 9 designers. We use to use Illustrator until we came across Corel Draw version 9 and now we are up to version 12. In our opinion, Corel Draw is a far more intuative illustration program with many intergrated features that makes our work flow optimized more than it ever did with Illustrator. We can give you several examples of exactly why they do not compare. Corel Draw is simply the best on the market. It is just too bad that Adobe has such a strong hold from a financial standpoint, if if did not, Corel products in general would be far suited for most all users. And no, I do not own Corel stock. This commentary comes from the unanimous thoughts from everyone in our office.
